12-day ban issued in Morang

The District Administration Office, Morang has issued a Dashai injunction from  Kartik 10-22

The administration has urged not to take any action as the infection may increase due to overcrowding during the upcoming festival. Morang district has been ordered not to use the highway from 8 pm to 5 am except for long-distance traffic.

Issuing a 12-day restraining order, the administration has urged people to shop and meet without crowds and to maintain physical distance, wear masks and use sanitizers.

During that period, people have been instructed not to celebrate and not to sing hymns except for regular worship.

 Gathering, exchanging good wishes and drinking tea are prohibited. Similarly, the district administration has also banned the inauguration of all kinds of programs to be held collectively, foundation stone assembly conference, training and other activities.

Chief District Officer Koshahari Niraula informed that those violating the injunction will be punished according to the prevailing law.
